Biking to Lusia and San Pellegrino is one of our favorites ebike tours in Dolomites.
An absolutely fantastic and satisfying ebike tour between Lusia – San Pellegrino area. Majestic peaks surround us along the entire route. The tour begins at the Ronchi car park at the start of the lifts and with interesting climbs on a forest road and then on a more technical path you gain altitude until the arrival of the “le Cune” cable car.
From this panoramic point which offers a wonderful view of the Dolomites and in particular of the Pale di San Martino, for an exciting descent through the woods we reach the our ebike San Pellegrino pass. This pass, located at 1918 m above sea level, derives his name from the hospice originally built in 1358, to provide refreshment to travelers and beggars at the time of the Crusades, being on the road that led from Germany to the port of Venice, from which ships left for the Holy Land.
From the San Pellegrino pass, with fun and evocative passages between huts and lakes, you reach (by choosing one of the different route options, depending on how much your legs still want to push) the magical valley of the Fuciade mountain hut. This idyllic place, for centuries the Soraga mountain pasture, awaits us for a welcoming and pleasant break. Either for a quick meal or to try the simple and refined flavors of the Ladin tradition.
We will be here surrounded by the Costabella chain with a breathtaking view of the Pale di San Martino and Col Margherita. After this beauty, all we have to do is ride on our e bike back to the starting point, confident that this adventure will have fascinated you!
